[Spridgets] Aluminum Sprite brake unions?

I have had a few period race bugeyes that have had aluminum"?" silver colored 
brake unions (4-way at the front and 3-way at the rear).  Were these ever 
offered on Spridgets or did these come from another LBC?  They have the same 
manufacturing and numbers.  Has anyone besides me seen this?
