WITH THE ENGINE OFF!! Put a pry bar between the front pulley and the
cross member. Pry the pulley back towards the engine. Now, have
someone get into the car, and depress the clutch. If the pulley moves
forward, you need to replace your thrust washers.
Since I don't know much else about the 1500, you will need to wait
till the RB owners get online to give more pertinent information.
