Robert, The play in the upper trunion is adjusted by means of shims. PPP can provide and also knows how to adjust this. They are not expensive, very inexpensive in fact. Play anywhere in the front end will make the car a bit less inclined to go exactly where you want it to go. Tire wear will increase somewhat. Just don't go racing 'till you're certain it's 100%.
