OK, ask him if the carb(s) are on the left (driver's in US) side of the car or the or the right side of the car. That will ID the motor as Spitfidget (1500) or A-series. Does it have an intake manifold? Either way, a Weber DGV would be a good way to go, especially if the driver is a girly type who doesn't like to tinker or break down. A Crane or Pertronix ignition setup would be advisable, too.
