Personally, I don't give a hoot about the true nature of Craig's sexuality.
That's his business. And, although I find his ideological "postures" to be
at best unfortunate, he has the right to be anti-whatever and even,
potentially, hypocritical.
What really bothers me is the f*****g stupidity and/or arrogance of it all.
Doing anything other than attending to the necessary ablutions, as
expeditiously as possible, is all one does in a public restroom. Come on ...
everyone knows this! The man should be old enough to remember (or have
heard of) Walter Jenkins, Wilbur Mills and Fanne Fox, Gary Hart, and a host
of others whose political careers have been ended by sheer foible. If it
turns out that ancient history is not Craig's strong suit he just has to be
aware that he's recently been under scrutiny from a home state newspaper.
So, either he's a totally unaware individual, or he has nothing that
remotely resembles good judgment, or he believes that he is above it all. In
any case, no matter what the reason, he should no longer occupy any position
of public authority.
And I hope he doesn't drive an LBC.
