Steering wheel hub removal..

I finally got the nut loose and off the steering column.  :-)
But I can't get the steering wheel hub to let go of the spline!!
Has any body heard of "PB Blaster" (local shop suggested it) or should 
I drive to the next town where I can buy Kroil?
Or????  Suggestions - short of a sledge hammer or blow torch!!
