Hello Listers! I got a new set of tie rod ends to install in my 71 Midget. When I put the new ones on and try to attach them to the steering arm coming off of the hub, I have a gap! The bolt fits up through the steering arm hole. When I go to screw the nut (nylock nut that came with the tie rod end) on top, the nylock prevents the nut from screwing all the way down and securing the tie rod end. Am I missing a piece, or should I toss the nylock nuts and use a castellated nut instead? Thanks for your advice!! John R. |
