I thought crank trigger systems used little black boxes with electronics that would give you a curve if you wanted one. But, most advance/retard would be for going from low to high rpms so I guess you could ideally set the timing to be best at max power output rpm and limit above that for racing. Probably wouldn't be practical on the street, though. Cheers, Derf |
