I did both for the 58.
Most chain auto parts stores sell a $6 chrome cap that fits.
Spridgets had 2 caps, one had internal clips, the other clipped on the
outside of the pipe. Bugeyes were internal same as a 67 Ford pickup
along with many others. Look on the rack near the Stant radiator caps.
