resonant vibration ? a slightly mismatched set of pistons & rods? something in the rotating mass(balancer right back through the flywheel / clutch assembly) not "spot on" balance wise? my guess is not excessive fuel pressure but the fuel is vibrating to the [point it foams . at that point the float drops just enough to compensate for the airated fuel wich gives an excessive level and the leaking fuel from the vent? if this is what's happening untill the vibration is located it is going to cause fuel in a weber to foam to wich will run into a "lean" situation also! (even if you use the "O ring" type gaskets and the rubber bushed carb mount to intake hardware.) remember certian types of vibrations show up only in certian parts of their rpm cycle! that's my guess and i'm sticking to it! chuck lurk-lurk-lurk... |
