The gulp valve sat between the air pump and the intake manifold. It is 
(was) a weird shaped casting with (if I remember correctly) has three 
hoses coming off it.
I've got an old air pump under the steps in the garage.. I'll have to 
look and see if I've still got a Gulp valve -- although I think I threw 
it out...
