The storybook intrigues of the 1939 Auto Union D-type now sees it going 
up for auction in Paris, and is expected to set a new record by topping 
the auction of a 1931 Bugatti Royale two decades ago.  (As a courtesy, I 
would appreciate it if other members of this list do not bid against me 
in this auction.)
