18.9 per gallon during a gas war in Lindsborg, Kansas, in the mid-sixties. In Dertoit in 1969 I drove a Rambler to high school and was able to get away with Sunoco 190 (less octane than regular) for 15.9 cents. Regular was always 2 cents more. John Engfehr 59' BE 1275  |
