Isolation transformers work on AC but a similar device a DC-to-DC converter could work on a car. But, your problem is probably RF (radio frequency) noise from your ignition wires. If you switch to other ignition wires and still have a problem, then maybe look to a DC-DC converter. Radio Shack had them in the past. They can be used to install Neg ground radios in Pos ground cars, too.  |
