ABC Dry Chem. Water on an oil/grease fire is disaster magnified, especially a cooking sitiation where the oil is boiling and on fire. CO2 works OK. Halon works OK. But, a really good dry chem will take care of most situations. Cleanup is a bit more messy, but worth the trouble. The yellow powder is your friend, and will help keep things from flaring up again. |
