Hi Chuck,
I bought the 460-145 before I wrote to the list, and it doesn't fit the 
A-series valve cover with the black crinkle finish paint. 460-145 is a 
nice chrome cap for the finned aluminum cover though, and the OEM valve 
cover for an A-series.
