When I was doing a ride along with a police officer from Pacific Grove, she
pulled over a guy for doing 40 in a 25 zone.  When she asked him if he
realized that the speed limit on Sunset Ave was 25 he replied, "apparantly
not."  She was laughing so hard that she didn't cite him.  It was also his
birthday, but I don't think that had much to do with it.
