No John, I'm just as curious as to how he fit
those wide tires "under" there as well. I had been told that 165x13 (78's or 
80's)
on stock rims was about it, though I never
tried in this respect with PO SWA Spridgets.

I think your thought on somethng about the Cosmic offset is right on target.
