A motorcycle cop was killed here recently.  An old lady didn't see him
and plowed him at 55 MPH.
If you do chose to ride a motorcycle you would be wise to ride as if
you were invisible.  The reason most of those obnoxiously loud bikes
are allowed to ride is that the noise makes them more noticalbe to
other drivers.  Others just want to be loud to draw attention to
themselves.
