Clueless again (or still?)

While removing nearly 40 years worth of oily dirt from under the bug-eye, I
found four green wires with nice factory plug-in connections hanging by the
transmission, attached to absolutely nothing, with nothing to attach them to
in sight.  What might they be for?  With as many unattached wires as this
puppy has, it is amazing anything electrical works (Lucas or not)!  Thanks
in advance.
