I hear that Stearmans are a hoot to fly
Read a great book a few years ago...name and author escapes me right
now...that documented the authors two years of flying a Stearman around the
country,
landing in all 50 states.
He's a successful novelist, and made enough money to buy the Stearman and
take two years off to do this...mostly in the summer months. Lots of fun
times
dodging thunderstorms, and for a few weeks he had his adolescent son with
him.
