I had a 64 Sh!tfire way back when I was a young man... Paid $110 for it and it
was a POS!!! I tried to blow it up by winding out every gear whenever possible.
The damn thing didn't have enough power to blow itself up... Got beat by a
buddy in a Fiat 850 fer chuck's sake! It was an ugly car too. It had a bunch of
"Black Magic" (harder than stone) bondo on the hood. Never could grind it down
to de-uglify it. Wore out a lot of sandpaper but never made much of a dent in
it. Eventually found a suck.., er, buyer for it and it was gone.
