connecting oversize slave

Whats the preferred method of connecting an old master
cyl to Rivergate's oversize clutch slave? As you all
probably know, the tubing on something as old as my 62
is approx .200 OD with a flattened or kinda swaged
end. The Rivergate slave looks to be 1/4" flare
fitting. Anybody on the list hooked the two together?
