I remember an older guy who used the "hose" to synch up the carbs.
I subsequently checked his work with a Unisyn after stumbling upon one at Sports
& Classics while acquiring other parts.
Guess his hearing was a bit off. I've used the
Unisyn (or Carbalancer) ever since. Nothing "subjective" about it at all. What 
you see is "objectively" what you get. :)
