Well That was fun.  Thanks for all of the suggestions.

Whilst my compatriots and I won nothing but young women's hearts, it 
was a good time.

Had a brat, beer, sun, drizzle and good conversation.

Had I stayed home, I'd have missed the brat and conversation.

Could've done without the "How many miles per gallon that thing get?" 
question, but all-in-all a good time.  (they liked hearing "It's good 
in the snow";-)

Some of the work people put into their cars is amazing..... and some 
is a waste.
