1275 motor differences

  What was the years that the changes were made to the 1275cc motors? 
   
  Like the thin block, big bore, best head, smog head crank and other 
componets. I am trying to figure out what year is the best motor made as far as 
thickness, heads and other componets. If you are wondering why i am asking 
these questions.
