Yeah, between the tailbone pain, and the asscheek numbness, you start
alternating butt cheeks on the seat...
It was actually worse sitting in the gymnasium for 3+ hours of high school
graduation after the ride down there.
Worst part, were my wind tired eyeballs (with contacts) on the ride home...

Oooo!! Sounds like a dare to me! Last year I did 1500 miles in
three days on a Norton Commando, stock brick seat and no windsheild or
fairing. Must be my lardass that keeps me goin' ;-) Those Harleys
look like you're riding a hay rake powered by a sump pump...... It's
the seating position, guy. That bolt upright, feet and arms out in
front position will kill yer back, kidneys and tail bone. BTDT -
you'll last 10 times longer with a slight forward crouch. Even I don't
ride like I did when I was young. Back in the 60s I had a couple
buddies on 500 Trumpets and we went all across Europe and all the way
around the Mediteranian in a week. Couldn't do that today - some Arab
would shoot yer ass!
Cheers!!
