I had a problem with clutch releasing low to the floor and found it was the  
pivot clevis pin at the top of the pedal.  The clevis pin was worn about  1/3 
of the way through not allowing the pedal to push in all the way.   The hole 
that the pedal went into was kind of wallowed out too.  A new  pedal pivot 
clevis pin helped a lot.
