Well, Dad (Kevin) and I went to Britfest this morning. 2 hour
drive...but worth it.
I got to say, that I forget how fun it is meeting up with people with
Brit Car interest, and talking with them about ...well anything.
I got to play with John Conklin's spridget a bit. And in the
process, he has the shifter can that I need. "Score!"
I got to meet George Marinos for the first time....again.?.
Apparently we have met face to face before, because I remember
talking to the owner of "his" car about the "child seat" I saw in the
car... so it had to be George. Anyway, nice guy. Kewl rear seat in
the spridget, as well. Never saw on before. Not much leg space,
though. Maybe good for man's best friend.?.
I got to see some neat looking 3 wheeled morgans. Never saw one of
those before. I got to see 3 today.
Frank brought his speedwell, and his son and his buddy brought their
Minis.
A few nice Jags were present.
I even saw a new Lotus.....nice looking....'cept the color was sick!
Neon Green! and Factory!!! Hey, to each his own.
Next show.. I am bringing my spridget. We took the truck today... ya
know.. to bring home parts. As fate would have it... no parts this
trip.... next time we take a spridget!
Nice show. I will definitely go again next year.
