Early Sprite (67) non collapsable column. It only bolts to the rack and is held up by a single bracket nbehind the dash. I know there are shims under the bracket. But no amount of shims will stop the rattle of the column. The rack is tight as is the pinion pinch bolt. I never had this before and it's driving me nuts. It seems loose where it passes through the floorboard hole but there is no attachment down there. Any ideas? -- Frank Clarici Toms River, NJ |
