Sounds: Now Something's Bouncing Around

Hi Everybody,

The mysterious squeak coming from the front driver side went away
before I could test what it was coming from... but now... there's some
kind of bouncing/knocking sound that seems to be coming from under the
shifter whenever I'm sitting at idle.  Could my transmission be
loosening itself, or maybe it's something inside the transmission? 
Could my car just be trying to have a conversation with me?
