No, Frank had the right answer. Those were casting numbers. They are a
mis-matched pair of HS2 carbs. Since one has the poppet and one does not, he
has two spare carbs ;-) The best answer would be to find another set, but he
could also buy a pair of the correct dashpot springs, a new pair of throttle
spindles and solid butterflies, the correct needles (assuming both of these
are swung), and rebuild these into anything he wants. The only prooblem is
that he has no tap for ported vacuum to feed the dizzy. Best bet would be to
beg Frank for a matched pair of HS2 carbs with the ported vacuum tap.
Careful or Frank might include some old vinyl with it ;-) How are you doing
at working your way through the stacks, Frank?
