FWIW I've been using Kroil for about 25 years as a "penetrating oil". It was being used at one of the machine tool companies I worked for. The stuff seems to really work for me. Of course letting it soak, like anything, helps. It is available in aerosol cans and gallon cans to put in small oilers.
