Hi Buster,
Yes, coincidences are interesting. 37 years ago I bought a 2 dr Morris sedan
here in Oregon. It's now about ready to disintegrate, been using it daily
since purchase and has almost 800K, so I bought another one last year, a low
mileage 2 dr from a fellow in Sacramento. Had it brought up and at the DMV,
ser. # looked really familiar. Checked it out against the old one and it
turns out to be 7 numbers apart from the old one. Same original color, same
ignition and door locks!!! I don't even need to carry an extra key for it!!!
Try the odds on that!!

Would anyone like to calculate the odds? Frank Clarici's Sprite is VIN
is AN5L/45506, while Ron Soave's Sprite has a VIN of AN5L/45543. They
had to have been completed just days apart and undoubtedly came over on
the same ship. Then, about 40 years later, and after untold previous
owners, the two cars are owned by two people who know each other, but
live about 800 miles apart. Remarkable.
