Hi folks; When I posted the note about the Minnesota newsletter with the story about the engine that failed within 1500 miles, I should have mentioned that I have no knowledge of the details of the story. I just was reading newsletters from around the Nation that I keep book marked in my FAVORITES list. Someone (Paul?) questioned if the engine was a 1275 or a 1098. I don't know the answer to that. Just what was written in the story. I don't know the people either. Like Paul Harvey says: It would be nice to know "The Rest of the Story!" Tim Collins Midland, MI 1966 AH Sprite |
