Tim Holt wrote: Funky ignition switch would be my first guess. But what would the fuel pump, the wipers and the right turn signal all have in common, which probably is in the dash vicinity? Any ideas? Backfeeding thru it and clicking the fuel pump. Next, check the tach where the white wires plug on. Sometimes they hit the edge of the tach can, again white wires feed the fuel pump. Look at the fuse block, white is in, green is out. White feeds ignition, green feeds signals and wipers. Whites on one side, greens on the other. Shorted out flasher unit. This can cause all kinds of weird things. Try any 2 prong flasher inplace of the original. It is up under the dash about the glove box. Corroded hazard switch, again, always hot and it feeds the signals via the switch. Clean the terminals on the switch or unplug it but you have to hook the 2 solid gree wires together for the signals to work WITHOUT the hazard switch. One green wire has a little black band near the bullet, that's the signal lead. A worn wire inside the steering column cowl backfeeding the wipers/signals.
