 It doesn't look all that stout, but it works just fine. No inner axle
seal--the bearing is lubed by rear end oil. 

You know how hard I skid Peyote around. I'e had the rear end apart numerous
times and always give that little plate a serious eyeballing--no sign of
distortion or flex.
