If you do go the Apt / Maniflow route, and you want to save yourself an extra
step, they will heat treat them there before shipping. I wasn't as informed as
I should have been and therefore did some extra driving around once I received
them to have them coated. Also, if you want vacuum ports on the intake, they
will do the machining there for you, too. ( I was asked to supply my own. )
Nothing is free of course.

The header just bolted right on for me also, but I was replacing an old one
with a new one. The PPO had enlarged the hole where the pipe passes through to
underneath the car.
