Unfortunately, it is not just "the guys that are making a killing"
bringing in the crap from the Pacific Rim. When the Pentagon decided to
dress the U.S. Army in those cutesy little imitation French berets,
where did they go to have them manufactured? You got it. The Peoples
Communist Republic of China! (Hey, if its good enough for Mess Motors,
its good for the U.S. Army.) Don't you just know that Black Jack
Pershing, Douglas MacArthur, and Dwight Eisenhower are turning over in
their graves just thinking of the look it gives the U.S. Army!
I was over in storage today, and I found a stash of my C Select pine!
FanDAMtastic! I don't have to go to Home Destruction to get some of the
Chinese crap pine we get, while shipping our good wood to--care to guess
where--China. (I will bet that most people don't even know that we are
importing pine and other woods from plantations in China, Taiwan, the
Baltic, and Russia.)
