Try Joe Sackal in RI  JSSPRITE58@aol.com , he was having the bugeye  seat 
base reproduced locally for around $100 a few years back.  I bought one and was 
very satisfied with fit and finish. NFI, YMMV, etc, etc......  I had to get one 
after the sandblaster ran my original over with a fork truck........
