I saw this info in the Wall Street Journal that may be helpful the next time you are thinking of buying a car or want to track parts. Applies to Google and Yahoo. Haven't tried it yet myself. You enter the numbers in the "search" box of Google / Yahoo. "Both sites will let you type in certain kinds of numbers, like package-tracking numbers, to get immediate information.
