Hi.
A thyratron is basically a high voltage switch. I worked in an R&D laser lab
years ago, we used them for switching high voltage flashlamps used to pump dye
lasers. Around 10 to 20,000 volts or so. There are various sizes and types of
course.
They might be worth something to the right people.
