Very fair. This guy had been a cop himself and most certainly DID choose his 
son's job. The city council and city administrator have a far lesser role in 
the obnoxiousness of the town's police department than the chief of police 
or even the chief of police's father. Likewise, if the guy wants to bask in 
the reflected glory of his son's perceived status, he has got to take the 
flack that goes with it.
