  Put this way it sounds an awful lot like an MGB. ;-)

  Other than to have a 'project' for school I don't know why they'd need to 
widen a TR-6 to fit the Rover V8.  They fit MGB's okay and I've seen a nicely 
done TR-6 with a Ford 302 V8 that did not require widening the car.
