Re: Concours Bumper was Tire Info Wanted

Ok, so I saw this Bugeye on eBay with the same rear bumper that I  
have sitting in the shop.  It looks like a small diameter tube  
stretched between the two rear bumper bits.  Is that a factory  
option, a rare option, or a common mod?

consider the letter "C", rotated 90 to the right.  Now slightly bend  
in the bottom of each open end so that it resembles a slightly opened  
staple.  This extends a few inches past the regular bumpers ..  this  
is just getting worse isn't it..
