I know how you meant that, Ron, but there are many situations in which you
actually DO get better mileage with the windows up and the AC on than you do
with the windows down and the AC off. The aerodynamic drag can easily exceed
the parasiitic drag of the compressor. Of course, if you have the windows up
and the AC off, you will do even better, and maybe lose some weight in the
resulting sauna besides ;-)
