When installing a new radio in the Spridget consider adding a power switch that
bypasses the switched power. Bugsy is set up with a separate power switch
mounted as a mini switch under the dash by Drivers left knee on one of the
brackets that supports bottom of the dash. Radio default operation goes on/off
with ignition switch. Working on the car and want some tunes, I just reach
under the dash and flip the SPDT Toggle Switch I got for $5.00 from Radio Shack
on. Since our cars don't have an accessory switch, this little additional extra
work and a little bit of wiring will keep points from burning out and other
things powered up that really don't need to be powered up.

Center Post goes the Radio as the Power Supply
Left Post goes to a fuseholder and then to a Switched Source in the Fusebox
Right Post goes to a fuse holder and then to a always "Hot" connection direct
from the battery.

Little tiny mini switch only sticks out 1/2" and is not detectable unless you
put your hand under the dash. Works fine and is a real simple solution.
