Thread-topic: | Front carb overflow |
OK, here's a puzzler. 1500 with twin HS4 carbs. Front carb is pissing gas out the overflow pipe. The float, valve (viton-tipped), and seat are all new as of this spring. Fuel pump is mechanical, and is 4 years old. No pressure regulator. I haven't seen this problem before today with these carbs. The obvious thing to me is that the valve is not working or the float isn't, but is there anything else I might be missing? Do new carb parts go bad this quick? TIA! -=Chris Chris King http://home.comcast.net/~kvcbk/ |
