I have the MGB calipers, Spitfire rotors, and the alloy adapters installed
on my car. To be honest, its not a huge upgrade in braking power. If you
are racing at someplace in an enduro that really uses brakes up, then it may
offer some advantages, although not much over the vented rotors available in
the UK (if you can find them still).
If I were to redo brakes again, I would not choose to do this conversion.
Its not quite a bolt on affair, as the rotors do have to be machined a bit
to make them fit. I would be far more interested in some of the really neat
alloy caliper setups that are available for the original Mini, lighter
weight and potentially better braking...
