Here's where I am at...if you remember the 948 had a miss at about 3200
rpm...would go no higher..
Changed points, plugs, rotor , cap, wires, plugs, timed, adjusted valves,
changed fuel filters, replaced fuel pump and coil, tuned carbs...
Kudos to Mike McLean for donating fuel pump for test...Larry Miller for parts
to test with on the way, and Dave Leib for 3 hours last night. Dave came over
and redid timing, carbs, valves, and other miscellaneous tests. At approx.
midnite we stood there Cherry Coke in hand scratching our heads...waiting for
distributor to arrive next week to once and for all eliminate ignition. Today
ran fuel line from gas can to fuel pump to eliminate fuel lines and tank.
Grounds have been checked...
I am frustrated... but my faith in the LBC community and peoples kindness has
certainly been refreshed. Thanks to all
I am open to any other ideas
